This article explains how to use the open view activity. We are going to create a workflow that opens the customer details view in our Customer registry app.
Create a new workflow. Name it Customer: Open details and select customer as root entity
Add the open view activity and double-click it to select the Customer Details view as view.
Double-click the branch leading into the open view activity. Click add parameter on the plus sign and select the root entity Customer as source parameter and view data as Target parameter. Press ok to close both dialogues.
Create a command if needed and then save your view by either CTRL-S or the save icon on the top left.
