Send E-Mail Activity (how-to)

In this example we add a workflow that automatically sends an e-mail to the person responsible for the customer category.

Instructions

1. Create a new workflow and name it Customer: Send email to category responsible. Set root entity to Customer and add an evaluate expression activity and set RootEntity as Source Parameter to the Target Parameter entity.
   

   

2. Add a create entity activity with Entity type: Email message and set it according to screen shot.
   

   

3. Add a create entity activity with Entity type: Email recipient and set it according to screenshot
   

   

4. Add a Send Email Message activity and set Create Email message as in parameter.
   

   

5. Save workflow and add a run workflow activity to the Customer: New workflow which has an order as in parameter.
