This article explains how to use the open view activity. We are going to create a workflow that opens the edit customer view in our customer registry app.
Instructions
Go to the tab Flow and press Create new workflow.
Name it Customer: Edit and select customer as root entity for the workflow.
Add the open entity in dialog activity, double-click the activity and select the view Customer: Edit
Double-click the branch leading into the open entity in dialog activity. Press add parameter and choose root-entity as in-parameter by clicking both lefthand-side and right-hand side.
Add a cancel workflow activity to the open entity in dialog activity.
Double-click the branch leading to the cancel workflow activity and select the criteria DialogResult = False
Add a command by pressing create command and if needed choose an image and rename Caption.
