How to: Visible and enabled Criteria

In this example we will hide the VAT Number field for public companies by setting a visible criteria.

Instructions

1. Begin by searching views and opening the view Company: Edit
   

   

   
   

2. Double-click the VAT-Number field in your view to open details for the text control.
   

   

3. Go to visible criteria and press plus-sign to add new critieria. Press the blue property sign to select which property to use. In our case Category.
   

   

4. Select equals and select which property should be fulfilled for it to be visible. In our case private.
   

   

   
   

5. Save and test your view. Result should be that text box is hidden unless Private is selected.
   

   

   
   Note: If you select enabled critiera it will be read-only but visible. You can also combine both critieria and have different rules for when it should be visible and/or enabled. With the text option you can make more complex critierias and are given more space to freely write your critieras.
