Create view

This article describes how to create a new view with some basic properties. Here we create the Contact: Edit view for dialogs in the Customer registry app.

Instructions

1. Go to the UI-tab and click new view or search view New view
   

   

2. Enter name Contact: Edit, select Contact as root entity and enter Title Edit Contact.
   

   

   
   

3. Go to the tab properties in the view designer and drag-and-drop the properties you want in your view. See example below.
   
   Note: String fields that are longer than 150 char will be multiline when drag and dropped. To force normal textbox hold down ctrl when dragging and dropping.
